What an absolutely splendid Craftathon!

Good Morning Everyone

Wow! Yesterday we had our July Craftathon and what a cracker it was! 29 of us crafting away....perfect day!
Every door in the shop was open and every fan switched on! it was soooo warm....
It's a pity we can't put the tables outside! ha ha

I love the Craftathons, it's such a good laugh and I can catch up with you all at the same time :o)
(In between lots of cuppas and cakes of course lol)

I just want to say a thankyou to Sue (for her fab cards, as usual) and to Tricia (for her fab catering, as usual)
I have many talents, but catering is not one of them lol!

And I want to say a big thankyou to you all for coming... it's you lot that make the day so much fun!

Anyhoo, here are some lil photos of the four projects we did... I'm not sure how clear the photos are as I took them on my phone...

These projects will also be on my website, with a list of what we used, in case you wish to purchase the bits and have a go ;o)

Gorjuss Girls Circle Stepper Card (8")

8x8 Fizzy Moon 'Floating Topper' Card

Fizzy Moon DL Twisted Triple Easel Card

Gorjuss Girls A5 Double Stepper Card

That's it folks, until my secret project is revealed......sooooon ;o)

Hope you like what we did...
Happy Crafting!

Tatty Button in Monochrome

Good Morning All

It's been such a busy week, with one thing and another...
Carol and I have never stopped! The new website www.honeypotcrafts.co.uk has gone crackers! and I'm still adding products to it almost every day!

If you haven't already, please sign up for my newsletter (the sign up thingy is on the right hand side of the home page) as I will be sending newsletters every Friday from now on!

You can also (when I can bring myself to do it) buy some of my treasured, one off, Tilda & Edwin projects.. There are a couple on there now, under the My Cards and Projects for sale category. Be quick though, the last two I added sold in about 5 minutes!

Anyhoo.... I'm popping this photo on of the card we have made at my classes this week..... I love Tatty Button, she's funky and cute all at the same time... and of course the stamps are for sale on the website ;o)
I did mine in monochrome, but some of the classes did this card in pinks or neutrals and the results were equally bootiful!

Here you go...

I will add this project to the website in a second, with a full list of what I have used to create it...hope you like it as much as we do!

Happy Crafting!

Our June (albeit it was in July!) Minithon...

Hi Everyone

Two posts in on day...can't you tell I am catching up with my jobs! lol

Anyway, yesterday (Sunday) we had our June Minithon.... I know, I know...it's July, but we always have it on the last Sunday of the month, just happens that the last Sunday of June was too early! ha ha

Moooving on!

I need to say a big thankyou to Nikki (my mate) from Polka Doodles for letting me nick her template ;o) as we did one of her luvvely birdhouses from the Candy Doodles CDRom. Here is a quick linky to Nikkis site, she has some luvverly stuff on there ... Polka Doodles

Here are a few photos I took before I went to 'work' yesterday ;o) Hope you like it :o)

Up and running...

Hi Everyone
Well, where to start!

My new Honeypot Crafts Online store is now officially open and up and running!

After much encouragement (bullying lol) from some of my Facebook and Twitter followers, I let the new shop go 'live' a week earlier than planned, but the response have been overwhelming.

I want to, personally, thank Sue and NJ particularly for their words of encouragement (and nagging!) for getting me motivated to get the online shop up and running again, it's been a long haul project that I have been doing in the background for a wee while now so I hope you like the new look and feel of it.

I also want to personally thank everyone else (sounds like I won an award lol) for your support too, I truly value you all as friends, not customers and to have both is just amazing!

Anyway, I will be constantly adding new products to the online shop as there is still so much in my 'real' shop that isn't on the site yet, and of course, you know I keep ordering new products too so I am going to be an even busier bee!

I plan to add new ranges on Fridays, so please keep an eye on my Twitter and Facebook as I'll let you all know on there too when new ranges are added :o)

Have I rambled enough? yep!

Thanks again and here is a quick linky to the new online shop... www.honeypotcrafts.co.uk

Well, the new look website is now up and running and ready for you to start shopping!
I am still adding lots of products, but was bullied (I loved it) into letting it go live before I planned....

Keep checking back to see what I have added and for all my news :o)

Until next time...

My May Craftathon Projects

Hi Everyone
Just a quick post for the benefit of those of you that 'don't do' Facebook or Twitter ;o)

We had a fabulous time at our May Craftathon last weekend, Thankyou to you all for coming and making it such a good day :o)

Here are a couple of lil photos of my two projects.

For my first project, I made a double sided stepper card using the luvverly Tatty Button Stamps and made the co-ordinating background paper with the Tatty Button CD Rom :o)

For my second project, I made a multi layered book easel card with the cute and cuddly Tatty Teddy. The shape for the card came from a Grand Nestability die, and, of course, my distress inks were put to work here too :o)

Hope you like them!

Pop over to my other Blog phillmartin.blogspot.com to see another card I made using Tatty Teddy stamps :o)

Happy Crafting!
